We made it! I only wish I had video footage of the night our moving truck was being picked up to head West and the morning our flight to Seattle! We were scrambling! At the time I wasn’t laughing, but now it all seems pretty funny! So, the BIG move is behind us and we are now Washington residents! I am absolutely in love with this GORGEOUS state! We’ve ventured to the mountains and played in the snow and have spent days playing “tourist” in the city. There is so much to do and explore–I only wish I could have packed up our family and friends so they could be enjoying this amazing scenery with us! I’ve been sending them images from my iphone, hoping to entice them to come and visit! Hopefully it works!
Our vehicles and moving truck arrived this week, so we have a lot of unloading and unpacking in our future. A move sure does make you realize how much stuff you can accumulate in a few years. I think I am going to try to challenge our family to live a more minimalist lifestyle, easier said than done, huh? Must de-clutter, must de-clutter, must de-clutter!! I think I’m up for the challenge!
Lucky me though, I do get a little break from the unpacking and organizing madness. I am heading to Atlanta tomorrow to meet and photograph a sweet little newborn and spend time with my bestest (yes, it’s a word, well, in my world it is) friends. I’ll be returning Tuesday. I will begin returning phone calls and emails then. Lots of images to share when I return. I still have several Tampa sessions to share too, boy, am I behind! Tis’ the season!
