friday’s feature: baby girl products

I recently spent the morning with Sarapage, creator and owner of Baby Girl Products LLC and her super sweet and adorable girls!  What a fun morning we had–filled with laughter, tickles, flowers, a pretend party with a blanket dance floor and then little B. sporting a bucket on her head.  It doesn’t get any better than that!!

I have been a huge Baby Girl Products fan since I met Sarapage last year.  I’m totally crazy about her organic cleaning products and I truly believe in what she has set out to do.  All of her products were created after careful consultation with chemists and the Environmental Protection Agency to guarantee that they were both effective and environmentally responsible.

Educating people on the dangers of common household cleaning products has become her goal.  To learn more about Baby Girl Products, please stop by the website: http://www.babygirlproducts.com/.  Baby Girl Products can be purchased directly from the site and if you happen to be local to the Tampa Bay area, their is a “stores” link with a list of local stores that carry her amazing products.  Check it out!

Thought I’d share just a few favorites, I have so many from their session, so you might be seeing more on the blog in the near future!

thursday’s thoughts: a soulful home

A house is a home when it shelters the body and comforts the soul.

Phillip Moffitt

The minute I stumbled upon that quote, I immediately connected with it.  I have so enjoyed my time working with Katie on her project for the Blue Moon Trading Company.  I have met some amazing families, who have been so wonderful to open their homes to me and my camera.  And, I must say, I’ve truly been inspired.  Katie’s philosophy is to create a home with a soul, no matter how large or small.  It’s these soulful homes that bring such comfort and make you say, “I want to live there!!” and it’s completely possible to create those feelings in your own home.

I’m thrilled to share that “Studio Blue Moon” is now introducing, a series of workshops entitled: “The Soulful Home.”  For more information, please contact the store at 813.839.2056 or stop by (warning: you won’t want to leave), Blue Moon is located at 4129 S. Macdill Avenue in South Tampa.  Their hours are Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.  You will absolutely love it!!

boys…

…in one word, they’re “awesome.”  Last week I spent the day with Katie, owner of the Blue Moon Trading Company, visiting and photographing more amazing homes, which I will share this week.  While photographing one of the homes, I had the pleasure of meeting such a wonderful family–filled with boys!!  They were some of the sweetest and funniest boys you could ever meet!  I couldn’t resist getting a few shots of the kiddos and the dogs (you’ll see the dogs on the next post) while I was there.  So, here’s a little sneak peek of the boys…

friday’s feature: music to move you

Happy Friday! I thought I’d feature some of my favorite children’s music artists this week.  If you’re looking for music for the kiddos that you’ll love too, then check out these three!  I happen to feature some of their songs on my website and if you’re a client, you might have heard some of their music playing while viewing your online gallery too!

family time • tampa family photographer

I recently spent the morning with the adorable M. family, who are enjoying every moment spent together.  In a little over a week Travis, J.’s hubby and O. and L.’s daddy, is being diploid to Kuwait for a year.  I was touched that they had me over to capture this time.  They’ve been so busy spending time with family and friends that their schedule was a little off and when I arrived, the adorable O. was ready for a nap, but you wouldn’t know by looking at the images.  We kept her going with lots of games of peek-a-boo.  O.’s baby sister L. was all smiles one moment and asleep the next–they are two of the sweetest girls!!

Over the next year, I will be staying in touch with J. and Travis.  From time to time, I plan on sharing updates and images from Kuwait with everyone on the blog.  I have such respect for the men and women, who serve and protect our country.  My heart goes out to them and my thoughts and prayers will be with the M. family!!

friday’s feature: ali serra

Yes, that is my hubby and I couldn’t resist sharing what he has been up to recently!  When we met we were 15 years old and he was determined to be a Disney artist.  I think every gift I ever got him in high school came from the Disney Store.  Ha!

Well, Ali ended up taking a different career path, but art hasn’t been far from his heart.  More recently he’s been spending time painting and sketching again.  It’s amazing to watch him work–I swear, he’s got creativity coming out of his ears!  Our twins seem to be inspired too–our walls have never been more covered in art projects!  I wouldn’t want it any other way either!!

Some of my favorites…

a new member for team “pink” • tampa newborn photographer

With the amount of boys that I’ve been surrounded by lately, it was so nice to spend the morning with these sweet girls.  Don’t get me wrong, I love boys, especially since I am in a house of all boys (including the dog), but it’s fun to embrace the girlie side of life, every once in a while!

I absolutely loved that they were all excited to wear pink and they looked so beautiful in it too!  I’ve enjoyed watching big sister E. grow since our first session together last year and now I thrilled to do the same with her adorable baby sister S.  They are such a wonderful family and their littlest addition is as sweet and adorable as can be!
