That they are! This was a first for me, a session for friends. And, might I say, everyone should do this. Especially when you are as connected as these three are… they’re like sisters. Based on our email conversations, I knew I was in for some fun. We had an absolute blast as we made the rounds through Ybor City! We even got the attention of some police officers… can you blame them though, these girls are such beauties!!

A., T. and C. thank you for such a fun morning. Your laughter was contagious and you connection was so apparent. You all are so beautiful, inside and out! xoxo

Actually, it’s the sweetest set of one year old twins!  These little miracles are such little love bugs. Working with them was like taking a step back in time, a time that is such a blur for me. So, it was nice to spend some time with A. and G. not to mention their beautiful mommy and both grandmas. What a blessed family and how blessed am I to be able have such wonderful clients!!

These two HEART cats in a big way… it was adorable to see them get so excited an even kiss the page with the kitty on it. 

You might recognize the mom in this bunch as one of the faces behind my very favorite line of environmentally friendly cleaning products, Baby Girl Products. (Just a side note, if you haven’t checked out these products, you must hightail-it to their website. Their products work better than anything I have ever used and they are safe for everyone in my home, what peace of mind!)

I’ve worked with Sarapage in the past on updating her website images, but when she told me her hubby’s parents were going to be in town and they wanted to do a family session, I jumped at the chance! What an amazing family they are and what fun it was to work with them all! 

Beep-Beep and PeePaw (as the girls call them), thanks for playing along with my wacky ideas! It was a pleasure to meet you both!! xoxo 

 I love when this happens…

I’m sure you’ve all heard of the Special K challenge, well, I’m starting the seven day blog challenge. Am I up for it? You bet! This poor blog has been awfully neglected. What can I say?? It’s been a busy summer. So, be expecting lots of posts from me in the coming days (seven days to be exact)… what doesn’t kill you, only makes you stronger, right? 

So, first up, this super cutie 6 month old! His big blue eyes just melted me on the spot. The funny thing is that I was recently asked if I’m changing the color of my clients’ eyes because there are so many blue eyed kiddos on the blog… LOL!!! I was seriously cracking up. No eye color changing here… just gorgeous eyes. 

truth be told, if I could have sneaked this chair out with me, I would have in a heartbeat!

I couldn’t be in Massachusetts without seeing one of my dearest and bestest (yes, it’s word, ok, maybe not, but I really like to use it) friends. So, I got an extra day with one of my favorite families! Oh, it felt so good to be home. We were all together in May, but in just four months the kiddos had all grown so much! How does that happen?? You blink and one is off to first grade, the other is off to pre-K and the baby is crawling like a mad woman! They are the most amazing kiddos… with the most amazing mommy and daddy!! I just love this crazy blue-eyed family with all of my heart. xoxo 

Now for some of the beautiful models from the Secret Workshop, Boston… This is just the icing on the cake. I have lots of images to share and some more fun behind the scenes shots too. With 40 attendees, 4 staffers and the amazing, Cheryl Muhr, you know there will be a part 3 to this post! Ha-Ha!!

… and it all began freshmen year at that! Today, with 10 wonderful years of marriage under their belts and 3 beautiful children, there is still such a spark between these two. I like to step back at times throughout my sessions and capture the amazing connections between my clients. Stepping back at this session, I felt like I was watching a romantic comedy (my favorite type of movie too). I loved how they were so caught up in their private moments and how they just laughed and laughed. The laughter was contagious…  Happy Anniversary to such a fun and loving couple! I am so thankful they made this session a part of their celebration!

They still got their moves. I loved watching them relive their first dance… 

I’m back and what fantastic trip it was!! I thought I’d share just a couple of images from the workshop…  The AMAZING, Austin, Texas Photographer, Cheryl Muhr at work. What’s on the other side of the bean bag?? The sweetest little newborn.  

And, one of the beautiful models that I was able to shoot for a minute or two… I will be sharing more images over the next week, so be on the look out!

What a homecoming I was given!! My boys had cards at the airport and were full of the sweetest compliments too… they liked my jacket, “A” told me that he likes my green eyes and “M” told me that I smelled good. Ha-Ha!! My hardworking hubby surprised me with a painting project at home. He had his work cut out for him too because it was a painting project to cover up our attempt at faux painting our circular hall and ceiling. Ummmm, I think I’ll stick with photography. So, be glad that I come to your home to photograph your family instead of painting your walls! LOL

Another wonderful surprise was seeing our images from our family session, on the fabulous, Central Florida photographer, Amy Smith’s blog!! Ok, there is no denying that I am extremely partial to the images, but Amy just blew me away!! I will cherish our experience with Amy and the amazing images she captured for us for years and years and years to come!! Thank you, Amy!! xoxo 

Last January, I attended the most amazing photography workshop, the Secret Workshop. Meeting Cheryl Muhr was a life changing experience! I was given the opportunity to attend the workshop again, but as a staff member. So, I am heading out of town today and will return next week. I will have limited access to email and phone, so it might take me a day or so to get back to you. Just a little note, fall sessions are in full swing ! My September and October sessions are fully booked, with the exception of a few Holiday Mini Sessions spots on October 11th and 25th.
